Indie Film Depot has been online since 2010. The original concept for the company was created in 2009. Since conception, the company has adapted several times to keep pace with current technology and the ever changing market. Our goal is to provide a one stop shop for independent filmmakers and film buffs alike. We provide services including an equipment store and NewsWire, and will soon feature amenities such as distribution opportunities, film contests, and free streaming films. At the launch of this new IFD site, we are completely rebuilding our streaming feature into a more robust and interactive platform which we plan to launch in the last quarter of 2012.
Indie Film Depot HistoryIn 2009, Founder and Owner Brandon Stevenson began creating a concept for a company that would provide independent filmmakers a helpful and friendly service. Having discovered the competitive and cruel world of the film industry upon moving to Los Angeles in 2008, he immediately wanted to create a company that would allow him to give the independent film community a positive place to go while building a business that allowed him to create his own film projects as creative independence is likely the ultimate goal of nearly anyone in the industry.
